Golden Seeds Around Nokstella and the Lake of Rot

Golden Seeds Around Nokstella and the Lake of Rot

The Ainsel River collection plan has two distinct Golden Seed objectives: a sapling below Nokstella’s upper buildings and a Tree Spirit reward in the Grand Cloister. The second objective involves the Lake of Rot approach and a fight. Keep those commitments visible when planning the trip instead of treating both locations as equivalent items beside a road.

Start with the part of the underground route you can reach

First identify whether your current access places you in Nokstella, near the lake, or at the Grand Cloister. These are related destinations, but having visited one does not mean you have completed the route to the others. Use the named area and nearby checkpoint as your starting reference.

This guide describes the item objectives from those locations. It does not claim that one particular quest is the only way to gain access to the entire underground region. If a broader access route is still unfinished, record the pickup for later rather than trying to force a local instruction into a world-spanning walkthrough.

Nokstella: find the descent from the upper buildings

The source directs you through Nokstella’s upper buildings to the route leading down toward a golden sapling. The relationship between the upper structures and the lower destination matters more than simply moving toward the same point on a flat map.

Track changes in height while exploring. If you can see an area below but cannot reach it directly, look for the intended continuation through the buildings instead of attempting an uncertain drop. A visible destination is not evidence that the ground beneath it is safely accessible from your current ledge.

Confirm the pickup before moving on

Once you reach the sapling, collect the item and check its name. Mark Nokstella complete separately from the Grand Cloister. That distinction prevents a later return to the underground region from becoming a search for a seed you already took.

Lake of Rot: plan the crossing as its own stage

Prepare for Scarlet Rot before travelling toward the cloister. The source recommends using the lake’s platforms. Inspect the route between safe positions instead of planning the entire crossing as one uninterrupted movement across the hazardous area.

Review the recovery and status-management options you actually carry. A guide cannot assume that you possess every consumable or spell it might mention, so base the crossing on your current inventory. If that inventory does not support the route you intend, change the plan before entering the hazard.

At each suitable stopping point, reassess your next destination and remaining resources. The immediate goal is reaching the next safe position; the boss reward is a later stage. Keeping those goals separate reduces the temptation to rush into another challenge with no resources left.

Grand Cloister: prepare the Tree Spirit encounter

The second Golden Seed is earned from the Tree Spirit. The source recommends clearing nearby enemies before engaging it. That reduces the number of threats competing for attention while you learn or repeat the encounter.

Entering the area is not completion of this objective. If you arrive after a difficult lake crossing, decide deliberately whether to attempt the fight now. You can record the route as reached while leaving the reward marked unfinished; that is more useful than an ambiguous note saying the entire region is done.

Use the two-result checklist

  • Nokstella sapling reached and seed collected.
  • Grand Cloister Tree Spirit defeated and reward confirmed.

After a completed pickup, check the flask-charge upgrade at a Site of Grace. Record the two results independently so that the simpler sapling stop and the combat reward remain easy to distinguish on a later visit.
